Michelle enjoys helping clients implement effective diversity and inclusion solutions, as well solving their sexual harassment and workplace discrimination problems by customizing solutions based on her previous experience as a FEPA Manager, Vice President of Human Resources, Diversity Director, Investigator, and Trainer.

Over the course of her 25+ year career, Michelle has directed the investigations or mediations of over 1,000 employment discrimination complaints filed with the state of Texas Fair Employment Practice Agency (FEPA), the Civil Rights Division of the Texas Workforce Commission. Michelle has also personally conducted over 100 internal sexual harassment and discrimination employee investigations; drafted responses discrimination charges made by employees to the EEOC, the New York State Division of Human Rights, and the New York State Department of Health; developed and implemented human resources policies and procedures; and designed and delivered management and employee training in the areas of sexual harassment prevention, anti-discrimination, diversity, performance evaluation, employee conduct, and customer service to thousands.

Michelle has a Master of Public Administration degree with a concentration in Public Personnel Administration from the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy, State University of New York at Albany. Michelle also graduated magna cum laude (Phi Beta Kappa) from Howard University in Washington, DC with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Michelle completed all of the coursework and requirements, except for the dissertation, for a Ph.D. degree in Public Administration from the Rockefeller College.

Michelle has been teaching management, public administration, human resources, and diversity courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels since the early '90s. Seton Hall University, Sage Graduate School, Sage College of Albany, College of Saint Rose, Excelsior College, Empire State College, and Hudson Valley Community College are a few of the higher education institutions where Michelle has taught as an adjunct instructor.

Michelle is the proud grandmother of two, Genevieve, and Antoinette, and the proud mother of her daughter, Rain.
